Sorry NO PICTURES!
During our moving week, I left the camera in the car for most of the week. Sorry about that, there are not many FUN pictures to take with grumpy/focused faces, or seeing vehicles crammed full of boxes of our crap. Yes I probably should have captured the moment because we won't EVER be moving again, but oh well, I was busy either, packing, moving, unpacking, or tending to a sick child. Yes we had a flu/cold battle this week too.
We got most of the moving done by ourselves, but had some help with the big stuff. Thank you David, Aunt Natale, Uncle Dave, and Andrew for ALL your help moving the BIG stuff!! And thank you Wendi and Bernie for your help with ALL the boxes and taking the girls for us so we get things done. The girls LOVE spending time with their Gram and Gramps and Duey!
As for the clean-up. Joe and I ROCKED!! We spent several hours during the week of Thanksgiving over at the apartment scrubbing walls, blinds, floors, bathrooms and the fridge. We took a trip or two to the donation place and made sure all the garbage was at the curb for the scheduled pick-up. We had our walk-through with the land lord and She said we did a great job cleaning the place up. We will be charged for the light pink kool-aid stain in Avery's old room (Grant did his best to treat the stain) and for not cleaning the supposedly self-cleaning oven. Oh Well! We should be receiving most of our deposit back....YEAH!
We are settling in nicely and plan to decorate for Christmas this weekend. We are looking forward to showing our house off to our family and friends. We will keep you posted on the Housewarming!!
