Footings

Here is the proof that we are getting started....dirt movement

On Wednesday night, we drove by our site and this is what we found....yeah!

It had rained hard on Wednesday night so when I drove by to see the progress of the foundation pour and it hadn't started yet....
And then I drove back later in the afternoon to see if they were able to get the footings done....

So here are the footings (1st of 2 foundation pours)

It will take about 7 days for the footings to cure and then they will pour the walls of the foundation. (2nd foundation pour)

Note: Joe got the call from the Superintendent on Wednesday afternoon to inform us about the pour that would be taking place on Thursday. During their discussion, Joe informed the guy of his background and that we were interested in making a few concert samples as a keepsake(because he is a geek...he told him that). Unfortunately, He told Joe that we wouldn't be able to take field cures because it could be a liability....such a bummer!
