GARAGE Clean-up Weekend!!

Our Mother has been nagging us for years to take our things out of her garage so she can have it back!! We ALL bought houses in 2009, so us siblings marked out the 3rd weekend in March to devote to CLEAN our Mother's filthy garage!! Sorry Mom?!?! My Brother was the ROCK STAR of the project, but I did lots and my sister watched the kiddos. My Mom was thrilled with our company and all the organization & cleaning that got done.

Before 1
Before 2

After 1: from inside garage door. She might actually fit her car in there?? ;)
After 2.
Super better....trust me!! :)

Auntie Krissy's duty for the weekend was to entertain the girls. She took them to the park at the school and they played with all the toys we pulled from the garage or closets in the house.

being silly

Avery looks SO tall

We stayed the night Friday night to get an early start on Saturday. The girls got new matching jammies from GG and were watching a FUN movie before bedtime.

Auntie and the girls also made cupcakes for fun too. Lots of eggs cracking, cups pouring and finger licking of the batter.

We had a great family weekend. Lots of talking, giggles, and love!! Great Job Jonny, Krissy, GG, Papa and Mama for ALL they did to help out that weekend!!

Our NEW Kitten.....PATTON

This is George S. PATTON. He is our new kitty that we adopted on St Patrick's Day, His actually Birthday is 1/1/10.
He has been a GREAT addition to our family. He is SO loving and very playful. He is up to date on all his shots and will be getting fixed in June. He has the run of the house and makes anything a play thingy!! :) We have LOTS and LOTS of giggles with our new kitten.
Mr Patton!!
Avery giving him LOVES

playing with one of his MANY toys! So spoiled!! :)
He LOVES playing in the blinds, looking out the window at bugs or flying things, and He even attacks his reflection at night...he is pretty FUNNY!! He also has taken possession of the girls play tent that is in the living room. He runs through it and attacks from it and plays in it for hours and hours. He is VERY entertaining!
He decided to come get loves and play in Natale's outfit.....He is very social and wants to be the center of attention.
And I am absolutely sure this will not be the last you've seen of Mr Patton....

planting flowers and finding bugs

This spring, we wanted to put some height in our front flower bed, so we planted a few Alaskan weeping cedars. We also added some colorful perennials, Azalea bushes, and several poppy plants (Joe's favorite) that will brighten our pathway to the front door. We also bought a few Espalier (branched out to grow on trellis) fruit trees that we hope will bear apples and pears in the summer and fall.

Our front yard....our grass is so green.....for now!! :)

On another sunny Pre-spring day, Mama and the girls took a trip to the Home Depot and bought a few primroses and seeds packets for some outside springtime planting. Avery and Mama were able to get outside to get the flowers planted and watered while Natale took a nap.
Avery showing off her 5 primroses
After planting the flowers, Mama & Avery started pulling weeds and sorting out the rocks in the backyard that still needs to be landscaped. But that HUGE project will be done in the near future. While Mama was busy digging and racking she found some critters....

Riding Bikes

We have been getting out into the sunshine as much as we can and have been practicing riding bikes. Avery got a Barbie bike with training wheels on her last Birthday. She has really started to enjoy riding her bike. Here are a few pictures we would like to share...
Natale on Avery's bike...she climbs up and sits only. She tries the tricycle, but her legs are too short....but she will get it soon!! Until then she rides this....

I hope that she will gain some more confidence at riding so we can take the training wheels off this summer. I keep telling Avery that I was 5 when I started riding a 2 wheeler and that there are so many places we can go riding bikes. So I will keep you posted on how our bike rider is doing!!

Natale

NATALE JOAN....
I started this blog entry a few months ago because I wanted to start writing down amazing things that my children do. I am going to aim to do this close to their Birthdays so here is Natale's (2 months late) and will be starting Avery's soon. Here are a few things that I wanted to share about my youngest daughter....Natale Joan Prince

When Natale sees a star in the night sky she points and says "how I wonder"
Natale answers my questions most of the time with
"I don't know"
"I go, too?"
"let's go"
"okay, Mama"
"where we goin?"

Natale asks you to "sit down" and asks for "your lap" to read a book to her

I told her the other day that "she was cute" she turned around quickly with a ear to ear grin and said "I know"

Natale sings her ABC's

Natale counts to 12 but will skip 7 & 9 once in a while. She will try to say the teens, but only teen comes out....its cute

Natale tries to climb everything that is climbable

Natale and GG have this connection that is sweet

Natale says Alligator, silverware and many other BIG words clearly

Natale teases her Papa by calling him "DADDY"

Natale LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her big Sister Avery

Natale is copying everything Avery is doing

Natale is potty trained even through the night

Natale is talking nonstop 3 to 7 words sentences

Natale tries to sing

Natale LOVES playing at the preschool play yard

Natale likes ELMO & COOKIE Monster...YUM,YUM,YUM!!

Natale and her cousin Danielle are bonding more...which is super cute :)

Natale's hair is blond and its growing!!!
Natale has ALL 20 teeth and brushes them every chance she gets....sometime several times a day! (see next line)

Natale enjoys splashing in the water in the sink, bath or puddle!!
Natale enjoys wearing her new undies
Natale pushes a lot of buttons..... on keyboards, electronics, microwaves, dishwashers, doorbells,
the printer, the phone, unlock/lock button in the car, and sometimes her parents.....nothing is safe

Natale loves her BFF miss Bella, when they see each other they run and hug. Its super cute, but has ended in tears when they bonk heads.

Natale will "run and hide" when its time to leave the Murphy's. She loves her "CORA, YACK, Bella and HAN" ;)

Natale has a soft spot for JEN B.

Natale is growing up too fast!!
Natale will ask me to bite her toes.....I say "no thank you" and she says "PAPA does" with a BIG GRIN!! She is SO SILLY!!
Natale thinks anyone with a white beard is SANTA.....the 7 dwarfs, roaming gnome
We love you NATALE and you AMAZE us everyday!!
Come back to this entry...I will add more soon!!

Mama's Birthday!!

MAMA turned 34 on the 13th of February. I had found out that the Cone's were headed to one of my favorite places (Masonic Park in Granite Falls) to camp. I called Mama Sue to ask what we could bring to share and of course she says just bring yourselves. Sue was planning to make a BIG pot of chili...YUMMY!! For being the middle of Winter it was really different being at a place we are so familiar with and seeing things that you don't normally see. No leaves=more visibility.
We took a walk and took in the sights and smells of the nature around us!! It was cold and it rained a bit, but it was a GREAT day!! Thank you Papa Dan, Mama Sue, Tyler, Stefnie and my BFF Shannon for allowing us to join you for the afternoon.....you all made my day SO SPECIAL!!

On the following Saturday we headed to Bellingham to celebrate my Birthday with my family and some close friends. It was beautiful day out to play in the backyard. The DeRemers had been on a cruise the week before, so we were ALL anxious to hear about their trip. We also got a visit from our Canadian friends Bob and Pat Sainiuk. It was SO nice to visit and catch up with everyone. We headed to the Olive Garden for an early dinner and headed back to the house for a piece COLD STONE ice cream cake!!
singing to the Birthday girl!!
I love this....Danielle is blocking Natale from blowing the candles out....SO CUTE!!
Avery loves singing!!
And MAMA makes a WISH......

It was really great to spend time with our family and friends. Thank you & I LOVE YOU!!!
