Natale is 1 month old!

I can't believe its been a month already!! Time flies! Here are a few pictures of Natale and big sister yesterday when we were inside staying cozy and warm! Natale has started to give us smiles and she is holding her head up strong. She sleeps very well and is only really fusses when Mama is delayed in feeding her. She is a wonderful addition to the family...I think we will keep her, but Avery changes her vote every so often! We love her very much!

SNOW!!

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning! Avery asked to go out right away, but I told her that Natale need to be asleep and we needed to eat breakfast. By 10:30 she was chomping at the bit to be outside. So we got all bundled up and headed out to make snow angels and throw snow balls at Mama. We had fun and are looking forward to the next snow storm (which might be tonight)

Maddie the puppy

Some dear friends of the family, Ralph and Susan Miller decided to get a new puppy. They found their new little doggie 'Why Maddie' in Snohomish. They stopped by the night they got her and she loved playing with Avery. She is a sweet little doggy.


Avery has been to GG's twice to play with Maddie, and we think Tucker is getting jealous. Maddie likes to chase Avery and grab at her ankles.

PJ Night at Toddler Group!

Mama, Avery and Natale joined our toddler group at Kirkland Jr. High for a Pajama Night. They had an entertainer to sing and dance with the kids. Avery had a blast dancing and singing with her little friends

Visit to Bellingham and just hanging out!

On Saturday 1/19/2008, Mama took the girls and GG up to Bellingham for a visit with Aunty Krissy and Danielle. The girls are always so thrilled to see each other. They play so well together. We had lunch and visited for several hours and then headed home.

On Tuesday 1/8/08, Mama took Natale to her first well-child check-up. She did great except when Mama had to put her back into the car seat to go home!

Isn't she cute....crying like this. She is a very quiet baby and doesn't do this very often! SO FAR!

Our first week home!

We got home from the hospital on Sunday 12/30 in the afternoon. Avery stayed with GG overnight during our stay at the hospital. Avery was happy to be home again with her Mama and Papa and new sister Natale. We have stayed pretty low key during the last week. Mama is having some soreness. I think I have a strained ab muscle and some nerve damage from the c-section. According to Joe and my Mom they really tugged on my stomach to get her out. My incision has healed nicely, but I have a hard time getting up out of bed and getting up from a sitting position. I am getting better every day though! Here are some pictures of us during the last week...more to come!!

GG stayed with us after the New Year and when Papa went back to work. She made dinners for us and babysat Avery, Natale and Mama!

Avery asks to hold and take a picture with baby Natale whenever she get the chance. She is loving being a big sister, but we are battling some jealousy issues too.
We are just happy to be home and resting. We are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things real soon!
