We started the weekend driving up to Bellingham. We took a scenic route through Stanwood and tried to avoid the freeway traffic. We arrived at the DeRemers home about noon. My brother Jon drove my parents up north and arrived shortly after we did. We exchanged some Easter gifts and started getting into the candy. We made lunch and appetizers and made the dessert for the evening meal. We had some time on our hands, so we decided to drive up to Lake Padden and play at the park. Park is a dangerous word to say around Avery. She repeats and repeats until we are at the park. She had a rough time though, her top back molars at pushing there way through her gums, which means fussiness and a slight fever. My niece Danielle loved the park. Her mommy put her on the swings and she loved it. Joe and I took Avery for a drive so she could get a good nap. We headed for the border and turned back for Bellingham. Avery was is a little better after the nap, but still had a few moments. We had a lovely dinner and dessert with my folks, brother, sister, brother-in-law and niece. We headed to Sedro Woolley at around 7:30pm.
