Happy Father's Day!!

Hope all the Dads out there had a great day!!
The Hanson side of the family planned a picnic and a visit to Northwest Trek.
Here is the link http://www.nwtrek.org/
When we arrived we were given a token to take the hour long tram ride through the forests and wetlands in search of deer, elk, moose, bison, big horned sheep, caribou, mountain goats and birds of all sorts. We were lucky enough to see 3 of the 5 moose throughout the tour and we didn't have to go far to see the first one. While we were in line waiting to get on the tram, Krissy noticed the moose walking towards a tree near the tram station
Here is where she laid down to rest
The tour guide informed us that she likes to reside near the station and there are many sightings of her. The other two moose we saw were the males. They were in a real wooded area and I did not get a good picture (too dark).
Leaving the station, she put her ears up only because of the tram noise and she was still there when we returned. It was really neat.
The cute river otter

This beaver was hilarious. It would be at the top of the water, dive down and tease and swim a little and then come back up and say HI and then would do it again, over and over. Avery and Danielle watched and giggled at this silly beaver for a good ten minutes. It was pretty funny.

I love this picture...Avery has such a big smile and was giggling so hard it warms my heart just writing about it.

Mama taking a photo with Natale on the tram ride.

The Badger....would just sit and stare at the visitors. These critters can be a match for a bear! Not kidding!
The wolves and we even heard a vocal performance from the pack. Lots of howling
The grizzly bear was sleeping and then...
He sat up and sniffed the air

A mountain goat climbing up a stump
Big Horned sheep

Dad and Jon
We had a picnic after the tram ride and then walked through the park. We saw bobcats, cougars, lynx, eagles, owls, raccoons, skunks, and lots more. We enjoyed our adventure at the park and will be making a trip back in the fall. We ended our wonderful family day with dinner at the Ram. What a GREAT family day and Happy Father's Day, Dad and Papa!!!
As for the real Father's Day at the Prince household, we stayed home and relaxed, took naps and did whatever Papa wanted to do!! Hope you had a great day honey!!
