Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

On Monday, we had our first field trip with Avery's preschool. We went to 'The Farm' in Snohomish. It was great even though it was rainy. We started out with a hay ride to the pumpkin patch and we all picked out the perfect pumpkin. After the hayride we went on a hay maze in the big barn. The maze ended with a slide down into a hay stack. The kids LOVED it. We then got to visit the farm animals and the kiddos took turns holding and petting a kitten. There were pigs, ducks, geese, puppies, kittens, bunnies, a donkey, a cow and chickens with a rooster. The kids loved all the animals. We ended our farm tour with a popsicle. We had a great time on our field trip and this was a great farm. Here are a few pictures of our adventure.

This is our class just getting off the hayride and beginning to hunt for the perfect pumpkin!!

Avery loved petting the kitten and she thought the puppy was cute too.

The class is nicely in line waiting for instructions. For being mostly 3 year olds they all do pretty well.
Its too cold for a popsicle

What a great field trip!!
