Weekend Getaway and Papa's Birthday!

When we heard the news about Grandpa Prince, Joe decided that he wanted to get out of town. So we packed up the truck and loaded the girls and headed over to Crescent Bar. Joe's Aunt and Uncle bought a condo last fall and offered it to the family. So we drove over I-90 thinking it was going to be pretty rainy and cool. We were pleasantly surprised with nice weather and the sun was out every day and it was in the 70's. There were a few rain storms, but it was worth the trip.

Joe's 30th birthday was on Saturday and we relaxed and played at the pool. We had a great prime rib dinner at the Golf Clubhouse restaurant. On Sunday we took the golf cart out and tootled around the resort. We went to the sand bar and played in the sand and watched the boats. On Monday we got right up and headed out. We had a wonderful and relaxing long weekend away. Looking forward to doing it again later this summer!
