The Pacific Ocean...this is one of about 15 Joe took of the ocean waves
On Friday afternoon, we climbed into Granny and Grandpa Joe's RV to go camping in Ocean shores. We caravanned down with Uncle Joe and Aunt Shar and the Haynes family (Ernie, Mandy, Kaitlynn, Tyler, Ernie Jr and Kylie). We arrived at about 8:30 very tired and hungry. We did a quick set up of camp and had dinner. Joe and I decided there was not enough space for our tent so we slept in the RV on the couch with Avery. On Saturday it was beautiful and sunny. We made our way down to the beach to the Pacific Ocean. Avery had a great time playing in the sand and watching the other kids dig for clams with their hands. (she giggled like crazy). She even started digging a little. We headed back for lunch and then headed to town to check out some of the shops and pick up a few things at the grocery store. We saw some really neat kites and we bought a cool windsock for our porch. We headed back and all took naps. We watched the kids play with their new kites and with the bubble wand. We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed s'mores for dessert. Unfortunately it started to rain after dinner and didn't stop until we pulled out to leave. We had such a great time and we are probably going camping again for Labor Day weekend. Thank you Granny and Pa for such a great trip!!
